The participation of students of the Information and Communication Technology Program at New Cairo University of Technology in the World Environment Day

Students of the Information and Communication Technology Program at New Cairo University of Technology participate in the World Environment Day Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hisham El-Deeb, President of New Cairo University of Technology, students of the Information and Communication Technology Program at New Cairo University of Technology, in cooperation with the UNESCO Builders Club and the Ministry of Tourism, participated in the revival of World Environment Day activities at Baron Empain Palace in Heliopolis, with the aim of raising their awareness and introducing them to ways to sustain environmental resources and reduce waste Waste utilization and recycling. A series of awareness films were also shown to emphasize the protection of our limited resources. The event included a workshop for recycling, using some hard and paper materials such as water bottles, cardboard, wood and CDs, and recycling them. It should be noted that the World Environment Day was approved by UNESCO on the fifth of June of each year, with the aim of calling for changes to enable living in harmony with nature in a cleaner, more environmentally friendly and more sustainable manner.
