At the beginning of the meeting, the university president welcomed the attendees, and expressed his happiness for the start of Egyptian-African cooperation in the field of technological education.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides to develop technological and technical education in Africa, and to promote the process of technological education at the African level. This process follows the example of the experience of Egyptian technological universities, particularly the New Cairo Technological University.
In the same context, the delegation of the African Union praised the experience of the New Cairo Technological University and what it includes of modern technological laboratories and workshops. They also expressed their enthusiasm in repeating the experiment in all African countries under the umbrella of the Egyptian leadership, because of the success they witnessed in the experience of the Egyptian technological universities.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Tariq Abdel-Malak, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Tamer Abu Al-Naga, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Sayed Al-Far, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service Affairs, and the coordinators of the study programs at the university.
