Signing Joint Cooperation Protocol Between NCUT and PetroSafe

Today, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, President of New Cairo University of Technology, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the university and the Petroleum Safety and Environmental Services Company (PetroSafe). This came within the framework of the activities of the company’s participation in the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition ‘EGYPS 2023’, which is held at the Cairo International Convention and Exhibition Centre in New Cairo.

As the university was established according to Resolution No. 72 of 2019 as a scientific edifice that adopts the method of education and training for students in various modern technological disciplines needed by the local and international labor market. Accordingly, the university seeks to build and develop the technical skills necessary to qualify the graduate to join the labor market directly upon graduation.

In this regard, the university concluded a joint cooperation agreement with PetroSafe, as PetroSafe is one of the Egyptian companies specialized in providing services, studies, consultations and integrated works in the field of occupational safety and health and environmental protection.

This protocol aims to cooperate in exchanging knowledge between the two sides, providing opportunities and scopes for real participation for students, as well as providing practical training for university students to keep pace with the labor market.

 

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Tariq Abdel-Malak Michael, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at the university, Dr. Sayed Al-Far, Vice Dean for Training Affairs, and Dr. Sabreen Ahmed, Head of the English Language Department at the university.
