The university, headed by Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, is participating in the events of the International Exhibition and Forum Gathering for Universities, Scholarships and Training “EDUGATE 2023”. The event, which is in its eleventh session from March 7th to 9th, is under the auspices and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour. The university is committed to improve the educational process, keep up with the latest educational systems and programs that comply with international standards in various specialties, to raise awareness of promising majors and study programs in the local and international job markets, and provide greater educational opportunities.

Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, President of New Cairo Technological University, stated that the International Exhibition and Forum Gathering for Universities and Scholarships “EDUGATE” is an educational exhibition that plays an effective role in promoting higher education and its different institutions, providing greater educational opportunities, enriching the educational experience for students, and helping them determine their university studies and future. The event provides students with the opportunity to learn about university programs and study systems and to communicate with representatives of these universities, in addition to holding many lectures and seminars to introduce available academic programs.

Dr. El-Sheikh emphasized that New Cairo Technological University provides a model for the distinguished global university education system. The university has entered the era of fourth-generation universities by keeping up with the latest educational systems that compete with comparable programs at local and international universities. In addition, the university has signed agreements for joint academic degrees with prestigious foreign and international universities, as well as establishing and developing programs for future jobs. He pointed out that the New Cairo University of Technology, during its participation in the International Exhibition and Forum Gathering for Universities, Scholarships and Training “EDUGATE”, showcased the study programs and educational services it offers in all aspects of higher education.

The university president and Dr. Tarek Abdel Malek Mikhail, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at the university, visited the exhibition and learned about the participating universities. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between them by signing agreements and protocols for joint collaboration between the university and various universities related to the development of the educational and training process at the university, and the pursuit of dual degrees from various foreign universities interested in technical and technological education.
