NCTU President Visits Salesian Institute Don Bosco

Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Sheikh, President of New Cairo Technological University, visited the Salesian Institute Don Bosco as part of his inspection tours to support technological education and training at the university. His tours are also to strengthen cooperation between the university and industrial entities on one hand, and applied technological schools on the other hand. This came to ensure the continuation of the technological and technical education system on its correct path to produce distinguished generations of Egyptian technologists capable of competing locally, regionally, and internationally.

During this field visit, Dr. Tarek Abdel Malek Mikhail, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at the university, and Dr. Sayed El-Far, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Training Affairs, accompanied him.

The visit included discussing ways of joint cooperation between the university and the institute regarding practical training and student exchange. It also included facilitating the process of the institute’s students joining the university to complete their university studies and obtain a technological bachelor’s degree in various specialties. The visit also included a tour of the institute’s laboratories and workshops to learn about the study and training system at the institute.

During the visit, the university president gave a speech to the institute’s students expressing his happiness and gratitude for the visit. He provided a detailed explanation of New Cairo Technological University and its academic programs. He also expressed his admiration for the precision and high standards in which the institute provides its services to students.

It is worth mentioning that the Salesian Institute Don Bosco, Rod El-Farag receives Egyptian students and teaches them several vocational, technological and industrial specialties, and takes care of their psychological health in the manner of Don Bosco and his preventive educational approach
