Professor Mahmoud El-Sheikh, President of New Cairo Technological University, received Major General Akram Salah El-Din, Director of the Military Technological College, and Dr. Ahmed Farouk Mashaal, Assistant Director of the Military Technological College for Education Affairs, and the heads of scientific departments at the Military Technological College. The visit aimed to discuss the mechanism of activating joint cooperation between the two sides in various scientific programs. This came according to the protocol signed between them in the field of qualifying officers, graduated from the Technical Institute of the Armed Forces from different batches with a bachelor’s degree in technology specialization from technological universities.
During the visit, various topics of joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and the mechanism of implementing them in the coming periods was discussed as well. The exchange of experiences and field visits between students and faculty members of both the Military Technological College and New Cairo Technological University was also tackled during the visit. The visit also included a detailed tour of the university’s laboratories and workshops to learn about the practical and training teaching methods for students within the university.
The attendees expressed their happiness to be inside NCTU, confirming that the university is a distinguished technological educational and training institution as the first technological university in Egypt. They also showed their enthusiasm for implementing cooperation with the university.
The visit was attended by Professor Tarek Abdel Malak Mikhail, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at the university, and coordinators of educational programs at the university.
