President of the New Cairo Technological University, Professor Dr. Mahmoud El Sheikh, and Professor Dr. Tarek Abdelmalek Mikhail, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology, met today, Monday, May 22, 2023, with Ms. Gianna Xu, the Executive Director of the Egyptian-Chinese Organization for Educational and Cultural Exchange. The meeting aimed to discuss avenues of collaboration between the New Cairo Technological University and the Egyptian-Chinese University in various fields. The goal is to strengthen relations between the two sides, achieve mutual benefits in academic, research, and professional objectives, and support exchange in the areas of human resources and technological specialties.

The meeting also covered discussions on studying and enhancing areas of collaboration, creating new opportunities for cooperation in various fields, examining protocols and agreements for cooperation in scientific research, and the potential for dual-degree programs at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Additionally, they explored the possibility of hosting experts and specialized speakers on topics of local and international importance, exchanging professors and students, and providing students with opportunities to interact with other cultures.

The President of the university praised the fruitful visit, emphasizing the importance of supporting Egyptian-Chinese relations in various educational and technological aspects to keep pace with the industrial and technological revolution worldwide. He expressed hope that the visit would lead to further cooperation between the two sides.
