Cooperation Protocol between New Cairo Technological University and Afro-Egypt

Today, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, Professor Dr. Mahmoud El Sheikh, President of the New Cairo Technological University, signed a cooperation protocol with the Director-General of the Salesian Institute “Don Bosco” in Cairo, Brother Pedro Garcia Perez. The protocol aims to implement a package of locally and internationally accredited vocational training programs for university students and civil society under the supervision of the university. The collaboration includes issuing a joint and accredited certificate from both parties.

El Sheikh stated that the implementation would start immediately to benefit students from these programs during the summer vacation. He explained that the training would take place in the university’s halls, workshops, and university administration building, as well as within the institute’s premises.

He added that the collaboration with the Don Bosco Institute comes as it is one of the leading institutes in vocational training according to the standards approved by high-quality Italian institutes in technical training.

In return, the president of the university emphasized the university’s commitment to concluding many cooperation protocols with various organizations and institutions to enhance mutual cooperation and advance technological education. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the two sides in various productive, service, and training fields, contributing to raising the professional and scientific level of the university to graduate a competitive generation in the local, regional, and international job market and providing necessary experiences for the students at both scientific and practical levels.
