Petroleum students at the NCTU continue their summer training.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Mahmoud El Sheikh, President of the university, and Professor Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak Mikhail, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology, students of the Petroleum Production, Processing, and Transportation program are participating in summer practical training at a number of different petroleum sites across Egypt.

The summer internship for students of the Petroleum Production, Processing, and Transportation Program continues from July to September 2023, in a number of different locations, including:

The sites of Petrobel in Abu Madi, the Delta fields in Abu Rudeis, Sinai governorate, the sites of Agiba Petroleum in Melha fields, Western Desert, the sites of Khalda Petroleum in Salam fields, Western Desert, the sites of Pharaonic Petroleum in Port Said, the Eastern Desert fields of the General Petroleum Corporation in Ras Gharib, Red Sea governorate, the fields of Badr El-Din Petroleum in Western Desert, the fields of Gabco in Ras Shukair, Red Sea governorate, and other petroleum sites.

The training program is based on the program students practicing technical skills in the field of petroleum production, processing, and transportation. Students train in each of the mentioned sites for a period, and then move to train in another site, to acquire more practical experience that qualifies them to join the labor market locally, regionally, and internationally.
