New Cairo Technological University Signs Joint Collaboration Protocol with Workers Syndicate in Egypt

On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Professor Dr. Tarek Abdelmalak, the President of the New Cairo Technological University, signed a joint cooperation protocol with Eng. Haitham Gomaa, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Workers Syndicate in Egypt, at the university’s headquarters in the Fifth Settlement.

The protocol aims to collaborate in various areas, including employment, training, and professional qualification for students during their studies in different specialties. It also seeks to support outstanding graduation projects, as well as to implement employment fairs and organize training activities through courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences in investment, economic, administrative, technological, and entrepreneurial aspects to enhance students’ skills.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdullah Abdelhady, the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Industy and Energy Technology for Training Affairs at the university, as well as the coordinators of academic programs at the university.

Dr. Tarek Abdelmalak, the university president, expressed his satisfaction with this collaboration, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the partnership between the university and the industrial sector. He highlighted the need to enhance cooperation between qualified individuals in technological specialties at the university and industrial institutions, emphasizing the necessity of bridging the gap between the industry and the university.

Abdelmalak also expressed his anticipation for more protocols and partnerships that serve the educational process. He emphasized providing support to enhance students’ experiences and capabilities, fostering a spirit of research in them to compete in the local, regional, and international job markets.

The visit included a tour inside the university, inspecting laboratories, workshops, and classrooms equipped with the latest technologies and equipment
