Cooperation Protocol between New Cairo Technological University and the Arab Contractors

Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak, President of New Cairo Technological University, and Eng. Sherif Hamdy, Director of the Technological Institute for Construction Engineering and Management, affiliated with the Arab Contractors Company, signed on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties.

The signing of the protocol was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Walid Al-Khattam, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology at the University, Dr. Ahmed Najah, Coordinator of the New and Renewable Energy Program, Dr. Ehab El-Shazly, Coordinator of the Information and Communication Technology Program, and Eng. Mohamed Sobhy, Director of Technical and Vocational Training at the Technological Institute for Construction Engineering and Management, affiliated with the Arab Contractors Company.

The protocol included discussing ways of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of training and employment for university students, as well as exchanging academic and applied experiences and conducting joint scientific research in several technological fields related to the nature of the study at the university.

Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak, President of the University, explained that the protocol aims to cooperate in the fields of training, the use of the latest laboratory equipment, conducting joint scientific research, and benefiting from the service and research laboratories of the two parties in conducting joint tests to reach new ideas and innovations in the technological fields and work in accordance with local and international standards.

Abdul Malak added that the protocol contributes to achieving the main goal of technological education and the university, in bridging the gap between academic education and the needs of the labor market.

 

During the signing, the President of the University praised the Arab Contractors Company and the Technological Institute for Construction Engineering and Management and their extensive experience.
