New Cairo University of Technology receives the Ain Shams University car team

 

hosted an Automobile Team from Ain Shams University, a visit sponsored by President Tariq Abdelmalek and facilitated by Professor Walid Al- Khattam, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology. The visit included an inspection tour of the university’s facilities, showcasing the practical training of students enrolled in the Autotronics program. This collaborative effort further exemplifies NCTU’s commitment to fostering partnerships and enhancing educational experiences for its students.

 

During the visit, a joint workshop was held between the New Cairo Technological University Car Team and Ain Shams University Car Team. The workshop was attended by Dr. Haitham Al-Zomor, the coordinator of the Autotronics program, along with several faculty assistant staff, and program students at the university. The workshop included presentations by both teams about the projects they presented, the cars they manufactured, and their participation in electric car competitions. Dr. Tarek Abdul-Malak, the president of the University, praised the creativity and excellence of Ain Shams University Car Team. He highlighted the New Cairo Technological University commitment to encouraging its students to participate in international competitions, providing them with opportunities for creativity and innovation, and fostering connections with their peers worldwide. At the end of the visit, Dr. Walid Al-Khattam presented a certificate of appreciation to Ain Shams University Car Team, recognizing their outstanding efforts and achievements in the field of electric car manufacturing. He commended the collaboration between the Car Teams of the New Cairo Technological University and Ain Shams University. It’s worth mentioning that Ain Shams University Car Team is a student organization with the primary goal of manufacturing cars in Egypt. The team has participated in various competitions in previous years and achieved significant accomplishments, such as the Formula Student 2018 competition in England and the Shell Eco Marathon competition in Singapore.
