Guest Speakers” Lecture Series Continues at New Cairo Technological University
Under the auspices of Dr. Tarek Abdulmalak Mikhail, President of the New Cairo Technological University, the University organized today, Tuesday, 12 December 2013, the sixth session of the Guest Speakers Lecture Series called “Knowing the Engineering Courses and Grants of the Don Bosco Institute,” which was presented by Engineer Mina Nasr of the Salesian Don Bosco Institute. The University’s students reviewed the available Courses offered by the Don Bosco Institute and their types, providing them with an overview of the specifics of each of the Courses at the same time.
The Salesian Don Bosco Institute is part of the international network of institutions in Don Bosco. The name of Don Bosco is linked to high-quality technical education in Egypt. The main objective of the Institute is to encourage and help young people to enter the world of technology, to work with modern knowledge and effective skills, both in theory and in practice, and to acquire knowledge among young people through workshops that allow them to engage in concrete experiments in accordance with the current technological standards of industry. The Institute also holds a series of courses serving the labor market.
The lecture concluded with the introduction of Dr. Abdullah Abdalhay, Under-Secretary of the School of Industrial and Energy Technology for Training, thanks, and appreciation to the lecturer for his degree of appreciation from the University on behalf of the the university’s president, attended by Dr. Sharif Al-hosary, Coordinator of the Mechatronics Program and Dr. Bothaina Fuaad, Coordinator of International Relations at the University.
The Guest Speakers Lecture Series is a series of lectures by a number of industries and investments to motivate university students to learn and innovate.
