Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdelmalak, President of NCUT, announced the qualification of the university in the field of scientific innovations for the final arbitration of the Creativity Festival, the twelfth season, for youth at universities, higher institutes, government and private academies. It is held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, It will be held at the Youth City in Abu Qir, Alexandria, during the period from February 2 to February 7, 2024.
The university is participating in the field of scientific innovations with two projects: The first project is “Increasing the Efficiency of Solar Panels by Cooling Them Using Thermal Oils”. It is prepared by students Sama Sameh, Abdel Aziz Mohamed, and Tasneem Mohamed, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Salem and Eng. Sarah Hilal.
The second project is “Intelligent PV Cleaner IOT-Based System”. It is prepared by students Omaima Ahmed, Ahmed El-Sayed, and Ibrahim Mohamed, under the supervision of Dr. Sayed El-Far and Eng. Ahmed Samir.
Prof. Dr. Tarek Abdelmalak emphasized the university’s keenness to provide all aspects of care and support for the students to continue their excellence. The university stands behind its students participating in various competitions, encouraging them towards progress and raising the name of the New Cairo Technological University to the forefront among universities. He expressed gratitude to the Youth Welfare Administration for their efforts with the students.
The university president also congratulated the participating students after qualifying for the final level in the field of scientific innovations, representing the New Cairo Technological University. He expressed his happiness at the students’ achievements in various fields at the Creativity Festival, reaching the final judging stage, surpassing other universities.
It is worth mentioning that the Creativity Competition is one of the most important national projects in the fields of arts and culture concerned with discovering talented and creative individuals in various cultural, artistic, and creative fields. Its prizes amount to 5 million pounds for winners in various individual and group fields.
