The New Cairo Technological University Participates in Egypt ‘ s International Forum for Mental Health and Education

Under the auspices of Prof Dr Tarek Abdelmalak, President of the New Cairo Technological University, Prof Dr. Walid Al-Khataam, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial and Energy Technology, participated as official speaker in Egypt ‘ s International Forum for Mental Health and Education, Egypt International Mental Health & Education Foru, held on Saturday, 3 February 2024, at the Concord Peace Cairo Hotel, New Egypt, by organizing a family and mental health counselling company in cooperation with Viper Development and Consulting.

The Forum discusses how to take advantage of the progress of the various countries of the world and to highlight the recent renaissance in Egypt today in the education and health sector and its achievements on the ground.

 During his statement at the Forum, Prof Dr. Walid Al-Khataam reviewed the role and importance of digital transformation in university education, its academic and research benefits, and even the scope of the payment and electronic collection methods for universities in Egypt and Africa, as well as the banking sector and its role in funding universities and schools.

In conclusion, he made a presentation on the new Cairo University of Technology, its educational system and its academic system, and the extent to which the school system and its management relied on digitization and keeping pace with technological and digital development, in line with Egypt ‘ s Sustainable Development Plan 2030.
For its part, Abdelmalak emphasized the interest of the new University of Cairo in technology by participating in local and international conferences and forums to keep pace with technological and scientific developments locally, regionally and internationally, and to reach out to all institutions of civil society, highlighting the role of the Riyada University as the first Egyptian technological university.

Egypt ‘ s International Forum for Mental Health and Education is discussing strengthening the resilience of business leaders and how international organizations, international institutions and research centers can continue to support small enterprises and entrepreneurs worldwide, with the participation of a group of ministers, businessmen and other world ambassadors, members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, high-level business figures from Egyptians, Arabs and foreigners, business leaders, government officials, academics, financial institutions, educational institutions, universities, research centers, chambers of commerce and industry, civil society organizations and entrepreneurs.
