About Us
New Cairo Technological University (NCTU) is a public technological university that follows the 2+2 system after high school or after completing three-year and five-year industrial diplomas in a variety of technological disciplines.
The university qualifies students to obtain either an Advanced Technical Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in their respective fields.
NCTU was established in 2019 by a Presidential Decree issued by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt in accordance with Law No. 72 of 2019.The university was founded in response to the local and international labor market’s growing need for highly skilled technologists specialized in Autotronics, Mechatronics, Information and Communication Technology, New and Renewable Energy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Petroleum Production and Processing.The university adopts the Competency-Based Education (CBE) system in all its technological programs.
