ِAt New Cairo Technological University, we believe in blending academic and practical education, and the success stories of our graduates are a testament to this approach.

I am proud to be one of the graduates of the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Energy at New Cairo Technological University. My academic journey there was a rich experience that combined solid academic foundations with advanced practical application in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The academic program contributed significantly to building a strong scientific foundation and developing my technical and research skills in alignment with labor market demands and digital transformation requirements. The continuous support from faculty members and the motivating educational environment played a vital role in shaping my professional character and strengthening my confidence in my abilities. I am further honored to have been appointed as a Teaching Assistant in the ICT Department, which I consider both a great responsibility and a meaningful mission. Through this role, I aspire to transfer knowledge and experience to students and contribute to the development of the educational and research process within the faculty. I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the university administration and faculty members, and I look forward to continuing my academic and professional journey in service of my students and my university.

First, the practical and career-oriented direction. After taking a recruitment test, I successfully passed and was employed at medium and large automotive service centers. I was also appointed as a technical support specialist for engineers managing maintenance operations at a Mercedes service center. Prior to that, I worked at a multi-brand automotive service center. When I traveled to United Arab Emirates, I unfortunately faced challenges in being appointed as either an engineer or a technologist, as there was no clear recognition supporting the existence of this specific job title in Egypt. After returning, I resumed work at the previously mentioned Mercedes-Benz service center, and later at a comprehensive vehicle inspection center. However, I was officially appointed as a technician. Despite this, upon graduating from university, I was fully capable of performing diagnostics at the level of an engineer and carrying out maintenance at the level of a technician. This was made possible thanks to the training, courses, and the practical-focused curriculum provided by the university. However, in the end, the professional identity remains unclear.
