New Cairo Tech University Students Train at the Heart of Egypt’s Oil Fields.

Students from the Petroleum Production, Processing, and Transportation Technology program at New Cairo Technological University completed their 2024/2025 summer training in the oil fields of major Egyptian companies in the Eastern Desert and South Sinai. The training was conducted under the supervision of university officials, including the university president, the faculty dean, and the program coordinator. It was held in collaboration with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) at sites operated by several leading companies. This initiative is part of the university’s strategy to enhance practical skills and bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial applications. The students gained hands-on experience with modern oil industry technologies, specifically in artificial lift and petroleum processing, preparing them for the global job market.
