Training of New Cairo Technological University Students at The Arab Contractors Company
As part of New Cairo Technological University’s commitment to strengthening practical training and linking the educational process with industrial applications, and under the patronage of Dr. Tarek Abdel Malak, President of the University, and the follow-up of Dr. Walid El Khatam, Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Energy Technology, the university organized a field training program for first-year students of the Autotronics Technology Program at The Arab Contractors Company, one of the largest leading national companies in the field of engineering projects.
The training was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Tamer Zaki, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, and Dr. Karim Gad, Program Coordinator, in coordination with Abdelrahman Omar, Training Coordinator. This comes within the framework of the program’s plan to qualify students and develop their practical skills from the early academic years.
The training aims to introduce students to the real work environment within major industrial institutions and provide them with fundamental technical experience in the field of Autotronics Technology. This is achieved through exposure to the latest systems and technologies used, as well as learning about work mechanisms within the company’s sites, under the supervision of a distinguished group of engineers and specialists.
Dr. Tarek emphasized that the university places great importance on practical training as one of the fundamental pillars in preparing qualified technological graduates capable of meeting labor market demands. He highlighted the importance of cooperation with major industrial institutions to provide distinguished training opportunities for students.
For their part, the students expressed their appreciation for this training opportunity, which enabled them to experience a real work environment and gain practical expertise that supports their academic studies and prepares them for their future professional careers.
This step comes within the strategy of New Cairo Technological University to strengthen partnerships with major industrial institutions, contributing to the preparation of qualified technological cadres capable of keeping pace with developments in various industrial fields.
